Accor Transfers from HeyMax: Confirmation, Arrival and Membership Checks

A successful Accor transfer has three distinct parts: the confirmation in HeyMax, the points appearing in ALL Accor and the correct membership receiving them.

A successful Accor transfer has three distinct parts: the confirmation in HeyMax, the points appearing in ALL Accor and the correct membership receiving them. If something looks wrong, identify which part is unresolved before attempting another transfer.

Campaign status rechecked on 20 October 2026: the 50% bonus ended at 23:59 Singapore time on 14 October 2026. It is not available for new transfers. For reconciliation of eligible historical transfers, qualification used the confirmation time in HeyMax, rather than when points appeared in Accor. The offer covered eligible accounts in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore with an active, own-name linked membership. Check the current transfer screen and terms before making any new conversion. Official campaign guidance.

The checks below also help after the campaign has ended, when you are reconciling a qualifying transfer or preparing a future conversion. A past bonus should never be assumed to apply to a new transaction.

Separate the confirmation deadline from points arrival

Write down the time of confirmation shown in your transaction record and compare it with the campaign’s Singapore-time window. A later points entry does not, by itself, mean that an otherwise qualifying confirmation was late.

Consider a hypothetical transfer confirmed at 22:00 SGT on 14 October, with points visible the next morning. The timing question is whether the qualifying confirmation occurred within the offer window. It is not answered solely by the date attached to the Accor entry.

Conversely, opening the app before the deadline is not the same as confirming a transfer. A saved screen, a failed attempt or a support message should not be treated as proof that a qualifying conversion completed. Keep the actual transaction result.

HeyMax documents crediting as usually immediate, with some transfers taking up to one business day. If the points have not arrived after that period, its campaign guidance directs members to HeyMax support. Crediting and confirmation rules.

This is a reason to leave room for checks, especially when a hotel payment is also due. A campaign cutoff and the time you need a usable hotel balance are separate constraints. A transfer can meet one while still arriving too late for your preferred booking action.

Calculate the base before applying the bonus

The expired campaign specified a base rate of three Max Miles for two Accor Reward Points and added 50% of those base points, not 50% of the original Max Miles amount. Use this calculation to reconcile qualifying transfers confirmed during the campaign; check the current rate for a new conversion. Transfer calculation.

For an illustrative qualifying transfer of 7,500 Max Miles confirmed during the expired campaign:

  • The base is 5,000 Reward Points

  • Half of that base is 2,500 bonus points

  • The promotional total is 7,500 Reward Points

The total happens to match the Max Miles number in this example, but the two-step calculation explains why. Applying the bonus to the wrong starting number would overstate the expected result.

Keep base and bonus as separate lines in your record. HeyMax says they appear as two entries in the receiving account. If you see only one, compare its amount with your calculation before deciding which component is missing.

The campaign documented a minimum of 1,500 Max Miles, followed by increments of 150. Check the accepted amount in the app rather than rounding a desired hotel balance informally. Any remainder should have a purpose; transferring extra merely to make the numbers look tidy can leave points you did not plan to use.

Verify the current membership before confirming

Open the ALL Accor account you intend to use. Compare its current membership number and name with the details linked in HeyMax. An old screenshot is less reliable than the active membership card.

This matters particularly after a status change. HeyMax’s support guidance says Accor membership numbers can change following an upgrade or downgrade, while the earlier number remains saved for transfers. Updating that saved link requires support verification. Changed membership number guidance.

Do this check before choosing an amount or relying on a promotion deadline. If a correction is needed, the support process itself becomes part of your timeline. The published guidance indicates a one-business-day resolution window; it should not be interpreted as a promise that a request on the campaign’s final evening will be fixed in time.

Use your own membership. The campaign requires one-to-one linkage between the HeyMax and ALL accounts. A family member’s valid number is not a workaround for an account issue. The campaign also warns that a valid number belonging to someone else can accept an irreversible transfer without qualifying for your bonus. Account and finality rules.

If a number changed, prepare the right evidence

The useful starting evidence is your current membership number and a screenshot of the membership card showing your name and updated number. HeyMax’s documented process is for support to reset the saved link so that you can enter the current number on the next transfer. Official update process.

Share that evidence privately through official support. You do not need to expose the full card in a public post to explain that a number changed. Avoid sending unrelated booking details or personal documents unless support needs them for the specific investigation.

Keep the account correction and any existing transfer as separate questions. Support may need to establish both whether the membership link is ready and what happened to the Max Miles already used. A corrected number alone does not tell you the outcome of an earlier attempt.

After support confirms the link is ready, recheck the live campaign status and transfer screen. If the offer has ended, do not assume the earlier support request preserves eligibility for a new conversion. Make the new decision using the terms that apply when you actually confirm it.

Match the symptom to the next action

The transfer appears complete but the total looks low

Compare the receiving-account entries with your base and bonus calculation. Record whether the base, bonus or both are present. Then check how much time has passed and whether the confirmation fell inside the qualifying window.

A useful support message states the expected base, expected bonus, credited amount and transaction reference. That is easier to investigate than “my points are missing” when some of them have arrived.

The app reports a failure or the result is unclear

Check your Activity record and preserve the error message. The campaign’s specific instruction is to contact HeyMax support before trying again, so the team can establish where the Max Miles are. Do not create a second transfer just to test whether the first worked. Failed transfer guidance.

Review obvious inputs while waiting: membership number, matching name and whether the amount meets the published minimum and increment. Checking information is different from submitting another irreversible transaction.

The account details are correct but points are still missing

Use the transaction reference from HeyMax Activity and the current receiving-account evidence. Note the time of your latest check. This gives support a clear sequence instead of several conflicting snapshots taken at unknown times.

Avoid interpreting a delay as proof that the promotion has been denied. Equally, do not promise yourself that an unresolved transfer will qualify. Let the transaction record and support investigation establish the outcome.

Confirm the hotel use before moving points

A correct transfer does not establish that your intended hotel booking accepts Reward Points. Check the particular property, rate and payment stage before committing a balance.

Accor’s programme terms distinguish Reward Points from Status Points and restrict redemption to eligible uses. The booking flow and rate conditions determine whether points can be applied. ALL programme terms.

For a practical comparison, record the cash rate you would otherwise book, the points the eligible option accepts and any cash still payable. Keep room type, dates, occupancy and cancellation conditions comparable. A lower headline payment can be less attractive if it requires an unsuitable room or a restrictive rate.

Also plan the residual balance. If the transaction leaves points after the intended booking, identify another plausible use and review the account’s displayed expiry. The programme’s current validity rules provide for a 365-day period and qualifying extensions; do not assume every activity renews points or that transferred points remain usable indefinitely. Reward Point validity.

Close the loop after the points arrive

Once the expected entries are visible, compare the combined amount with your confirmation. Mark the transfer as reconciled, then return to the intended hotel booking and review its current price and conditions.

Keep a distinction between an expected saving and a completed booking. A transfer confirmation is evidence of points movement. The hotel’s booking confirmation is evidence of the stay you purchased. Saving both makes later changes easier to understand.

If you decide against the hotel, revisit the alternatives you considered before transferring. Avoid spending points simply to justify a decision already made. Your next choice should still meet your travel needs and budget.

Frequently asked questions

Will points arriving after 14 October automatically miss the bonus?

The campaign uses the qualifying confirmation time in HeyMax. Compare that timestamp with the official Singapore-time window, then reconcile the receiving entries. Arrival after the cutoff is not enough, on its own, to determine the result.

Should I repeat a transfer when the first one looks unsuccessful?

Follow the campaign’s instruction to contact support first. An unclear outcome needs to be resolved before another submission. Keep the error, Activity record and transaction reference so that support can check the original attempt.

Why do I see two Accor entries?

The campaign’s base and bonus are recorded separately. Add the relevant entries and compare them with your calculation. Do not assume that the first visible entry is the final total, or count an unrelated hotel reward as part of the conversion.

Can I update a changed membership number myself?

HeyMax’s published guidance routes the change through support verification. Prepare the current membership card evidence and allow time for the update. Check that the link is ready before using it for a new transaction.

Does the 50% bonus increase my Accor status?

Reward Points and Status Points are separate programme units. Do not use the size of a transferred Reward Point balance as a status forecast. Consult the applicable Accor status rules for the activity you are considering.

What if I read this after the promotion ends?

Use the dated rules to review a transfer made during the campaign. For a new transfer, check the current rate and any current offer in HeyMax. The account-readiness and reconciliation steps remain useful, but the expired promotion should not be carried into a fresh calculation.
